The photo to the left shows how big different rays are. The rays are shown in a scale that we can easily recognize. However, If you don't understand the picture, I will explain;
*A gamma ray, is about the size of an atomic nuclei, and that is very small, and can't be seen by the naked human eye.
*A x-ray, is around the size of an atom, and also can't be seen by the naked human eye.
*An ultraviolet, is about the size of a molecule, and that is bigger than an atom, but still can't be seen by the naked eye.
*Then, there are visible rays, and obviously,we can see them.
*An infrared is next, it is about the size of a pinpoint, and that is very small, but visible.
*Microwaves are next, and they are around the size of a person.
*Last, the biggest rays, radio, are so big that the are the size of a pretty large building.
